01 — The Idea

We don’t wait for founders to pitch us. We do the upstream work.

House of Ideas is a venture studio, not a fund and not an accelerator. We research domains, identify ideas with genuine market potential, build the execution roadmap, and then find the right person to run it.

Selected Fellows work on the venture during their time at college. They receive a stipend, active mentoring, and direct support from the HoI team. We manage the operational side while the Fellow drives the product and customer thinking.

02 — How It Works

A studio, not a fund. Five deliberate steps.

Every venture in the HoI portfolio moves along the same path — from research to deployment to operator. There is no fast lane, and there is no shortcut.

    Idea Research

    HoI continuously researches markets, emerging trends, and whitespace opportunities across defined domains. Every idea on the platform comes with a validated hypothesis, a competitive landscape, and a phased execution roadmap.

  2. 02

    The Platform

    Ideas are listed on the HoI platform. Students from premier institutions explore, read the brief, and apply to take one forward. Builders already working on a problem — limited by structure, capital, or scale — can apply to bring their venture into the portfolio.

  3. 03

    Selection

    Applications are reviewed by the HoI team. We look for intellectual sharpness, an execution mindset, and genuine commitment — not credentials alone. Selection is rigorous. The bar holds.

  4. 04

    The Build Phase

    Selected Fellows work on the venture during their time at college. They receive a stipend, active mentoring, the execution roadmap, and direct support from the HoI team. HoI manages operations while the Fellow drives product and customer thinking.

  5. 05

    Post-College

    When the Fellow graduates, they have the option to return to the venture full-time at a pre-agreed equity stake. This is their real entry — as a full-time operator with skin in the game.

The Fellowship is open to students currently enrolled at IITs, NITs, and other premier institutions. We look for intellectually curious, commercially aware students who can think under ambiguity — and who want to build, not just to have built.
